Compare committed local history or the complete pending staged result without contacting a service.

Use repo:diff --staged to review complete net node, relationship, tag, artifact, and reference changes before explicitly running repo:commit. It captures the real nullable base_head, exact staging_digest, and complete deterministic Before/After changes without network access, artifact-byte reads, or mutation. Before the first commit the base is empty and base_head is null; empty staging and net cancellations produce no changes. A null side means an absent entity, not a nullable field. JSON and structured formats preserve complete values and repository numbers. Do not combine --staged with --base or --head. Unflagged repo:diff remains the committed-history comparison. Review again after changing the batch or head; the captured view is not a reservation. Invalid batches fail with the first operation's ID, type, entity, and reason and remain saved. Commit records local history; only a separate push publishes it. Projection reads remain committed-only by default; add --staged to one of the ten supported graph reads to inspect saved pending state before a local commit.
